The boys of Mama’s Movers value hard work done right, and after years of doing it, we know how stressful it can be to move. That’s why we move every customer like they were our own mother!

Our charitable acts!
Mother’s Day 2025 should have been a day of celebration. Instead, a devastating fire tore through Highland Court Apartments at 27th and Highland in Milwaukee, claiming five lives and leaving more than 100 families suddenly without a home. It was one of the worst tragedies our city had seen in recent memory.
When the American Red Cross of Wisconsin reached out to us shortly after, asking if Mama’s Movers could help the displaced residents with moving services at a discounted rate, we didn’t have to think twice. There was really only one answer. These were our neighbors — Milwaukee families who had lost nearly everything — and we had trucks, we had hands, and we had time. How could we not show up?
We told the Red Cross we would move every family, completely free of charge. No discounts, no minimums, no invoices. Just our team, showing up every day, doing what we do — loading what was salvageable, moving it carefully, and getting families into their next chapter with as much dignity as we could offer.
Over the following weeks, Mama’s Movers moved seven families out of the fire-damaged building. We covered every cost ourselves, including truck rentals, because that’s what the moment called for. It wasn’t a campaign or a photo opportunity. It was just Milwaukee movers doing what felt right for Milwaukee people.
We are deeply grateful that FOX6 News saw fit to share the story — not because we sought recognition, but because it shined a light on the incredible resilience of the families who went through that nightmare and came out the other side. If anything, they are the ones who inspired us.
To the families of Highland Court: it was an honor to serve you. And to anyone in the Milwaukee community who ever finds themselves in a moment of need — we hope you know that Mama’s Movers will always answer the call.
